All-in-One chassis , utilising a cool running
"Class A" dual mono 100wpc solid state amplifier, incorporating the award winning CD120 linear CD player, AM/FM radio with remote controlled scanning to 9 preselected stations, with USB dac to connect to your PC , using Burr brown PCM 2707 Dac chip equipped with SP-Act "TM" functions.
Instead of listening to your music, or internet radio through your PC speakers, simply connect with the supplied USB cable  from the rear panel of the Ping to your PC and play any chosen file in high quality, low jitter sound.
Sampling Period Adaptive Controlled Tracking System [Sp-Act] is a registered trade mark by Texas Instruments.

Here's what Adam Smith had to say about the Ping in the November '07 HFW=="The Ping has a fantastically dynamic presentation that positively grips music and really powers it out of the speakers, most noticeable was the bass performance, which is super tight and deep, at the top end, the Consonance  offered a very spacious and clear treble, again picking up on every high frequency detail to ensure that none were lost, the Ping has a lucid and expressive midrange, offering almost thermionic levels of insight,is a fine all-in-one system and offers a large scale performance on all sources"

Here's what Richard Black said in his Hi-Fi Choice April 2009 review "If there's one area where the Ping definitely blows away the competition, then it's in the solidity of the assembly. The front and side panels are 10mm-thick aluminium, while the entire unit screams 'high end' in a way that most affordable all-in-ones just don't.With CDs played on the internal transport, though, the Ping's character really blossoms. This is where the sound develops a real sense of swing and excitement, contributing in a very positive way to the right sort of music.
