 Shuguang is the oldest and largest tube manufacturer in China,
established in 1958 by engineers educated and trained in the United
States in the 30-40s. Shuguang's vacuum tube production accounts for
the world's 40% total tube output nowadays, either under their own
brand "Shuguang" or under OEM brands.
Generic Shuguang tubes are constructed in clear glass enclosure.
The Treasure
series use a carbon compound coating inside the tubes making them
appear to be 'black bottle'.
This series were released in Dec 2008 to
celebrate Shuguang's 50th anniversary, after 3 years of testing under extreme conditions, Shuguang has
successfully adopted technology in vacuum tube construction to
achieve directional solidification and single crystallization, which greatly
improving the ability of electron emission and electron current
stability.
As a result of Shuguang's 50-years' of expertise in vacuum tube design and production.
- High Polymer Compound Carbon (HPCC) coating is for the first time
used on vacuum tube production. Compared to traditional carbon spray
technology, HPCC coating allows greater concentration of electrons
to enhance and maintain stability of the electron flow,which also maximizes
"secondary electron emission supression" from the glass enclosure,which in
turn reduce effects of electron swirl which can generate internal noises
from the vacuum tube itself.
- 'Super Alloy' technology is used for the first time in
constructing vacuum tubes, this technology is a spin-off from aviation, aerospace, and military usage.
 Surely this is the 300B to beat, this could well be the valve of choice in those exotic single-ended monoblocks, and also a great replacement in push pull designs too.

 If you are running an amplifier using EL34's, then this is the valve to be looking for, larger glass construction compared to a standard EL34, and with a much bigger sound!

 Just the job for those Quad classic amps or similar, buyers have been raving about how these valves have completely improved on every other KT66 available.
"The TS valves did transform my Quad IIs into a real high end amp without any
softness and with a lot more details. They did beat Golden Dragon and Ruby
tubes. My only concern is if they will be still available when my first set is
used up because I don't think I can go back to other (lesser) valves."
